Kinsale is a small town in southern Ireland (County Cork), located at the mouth of the River Bandon to its appearance reminiscent of a picturesque fjord bay. In the past, the city was forgotten and neglected fishing port , which later transformed into an attractive summer resort. Currently in Kinsale you have a large number of diverse restaurants and itself has earned the name "gourmet capital of Ireland". The most interesting buildings in Kinsale include the 'm in. XII century Church of St Multose'a , the old court building (Old Courthouse), the sixteenth century Desmond Castle (the location of the Wine Museum now) and located on the shores of the bay and occupying more than 3.5 hectares of the seventeenth century Charles Fort. The fortress was so laid out that never posed little military significance. Currently, there is a marina.
Cobh, the small port city and also the popular summer tourist resort in southern Ireland (County Cork) Located on the shores of the Irish Sea pension. Big Ben

 Have you known that...

  • Official name of Big Ben is Elisabeth Tower (since 2012), previuosly also called The Clock Tower
  • Big Ben is the name of 14 ton bell placed on the top of 96- metre tower.
  • In 1949 the clock on Big Ben was delayed by 41 minute when a flock of birds sat on a minute hand.
  • In 1962 clock struck New Year ten minuts later due to heavy snowfalls
